I play mandolin, although I have an bit of an advantage as I play violin and guitar - mix em together and there you have it. To be honest, I don't play very often but when I do I really enjoy it.

But seriously, if you're looking for 2nd hand quality and cheap with it, I would say DO NOT go with Pearl Export, having played many old ones. An old Mapex V series...
