Where should you go to find the latest songs?

Hey, where would you go if you were one of those people obsessed with having the songs before everyone else has really discovered them yet? Like who gets a hold of an artists songs before everyone else does? Is there like a website that lists latest releases and potential awesome songs just as they are released? It would be cool to always be on top of the latest music, get it as it is just released.

Purevoume is pretty good about staying on top, they had FOB and Panic! on way before either got played on mtv.

Whirlwind Disaster 10-26-2006 07:35 AM

just go myspace.

The Dave 10-26-2006 07:38 AM

Myspace doesn't really post bands before they get famous, they tend to post bands as they get famous, so that wouldn't really help out Walkeg. PV is the way to go.

you having a laugh? myspace is the place to get your band heard and noticed. There's so many bands that havent been noticed yet that put theit stuff up with the belief that at least a couple of the millions have people who have access to the site will listen to their stuff and create a small following. Ihate the site personally, but its good for new bands.

I find bowlie.com is pretty good for new music, the kids there know where its at, and How Does It Feel. Most of the time I just go to places like the National Pop League and The Winchester Club and have come to depend on the DJs there

But the site doesn't really help the user in discovering the new up and coming band, rather you just search through page after page of band and hopefully find a good one. PV on the other hand does a great job at doing spotlights and highlights of up and coming bands on their main page, making it way better for the person who made this thread.

bittorent. if you know the right sites that talk about new music, and is pretty underground, you should then be able to get them off bitorrent.
