Public Enemy was one of my first dives into the genre, and It Takes a Nation is a classic for me.
However, Alopecia is one of my favorite albums out of any genre and appeals to me in a way that Public Enemy never did, so WHY? get my vote.

Andre 3000 is by far one of the best lyricists ever, how can you not vote for him?

I like him a lot as a musician but I definitely don't think of him as anything special in the lyrics department.

Not even questionable. Do you know of any other Hip Hop artists that sound like Public Enemy both musically, thematically and lyrically? A literal wall of sound.

idk he's pretty awesome in the lyrics department, check these verses out

even though he's talented, there is no way I could choose him over PE though.

^All three of those have very middle-of-the-road lyrics to me. I like the songs (especially the third one) but it's definitely not the words that grab me.

Public Enemy. In all honesty I havent listened to Why? so it was a choice between Andre 3k and PE, and I much prefer Chuck D's delivery over Andre 3k's
