Seriously, image aside, what has that guy contributed to music, at all? Other than bass playing so awful that not even a goddamn punk band would let him do anything. Though with that in mind, with all the mainstream bands with crappy inaudible bass players nowadays, he probably is very influencial. |

Randy was the youngest brother, he joined the Jackson 5 when Jermaine stuck with Motown.

I know it always sucks when people die, save a few counter-examples
But yeah, Vicious was an incredibly untalented individual who was more of a stage prop than an actual musician and yet still had the gall to be an egotistical f*ck and just a downright horrible human being, not to mention a murderer. I wouldn't cry at the guy's funeral, no. |

Yeah, what a c*nt.
Jackson left him out of the will, but still, you know he's gonna get some of that money because he left it to his mother. I'm very disappointed that Michael didn't just say f*ck it and leave his entire estate to Bubbles. |

Always remember, if not for Joe Jackson this thread wouldn't be here. As much of a **** of a father he was/is, Michael always tried to gain his approval and Michael was who he was because of Joe. Perhaps that is more of a curse then a blessing, but all the money is because of Joe pushing him and his brothers so hard. I think the kids falling into the hands of Joe will be kinda sad since Michael had issues with the way he was disciplined but I doubt Joe would do anything remotely close to what he did to Michael since A) it was his own kid and his meal ticket and B) he's 80 years old.

Joe paved the way, he was Jackson's teacher after all, but he was also holding Michael back and if anything Berry Gordy and Quincy Jones deserve just as much credit for making Michael into the superstar that he was, if not more.
But let's not take away all the credit from Michael himself. |

My point is if not for Joe driving those kids, Quincy and Berry would have never known who Michael was. The foundation of the Michael Jackson phenomenon was and always will be Joe Jackson. By the way Joe is acting now I'm forced to believe he was only looking out for himself and could care less what his kids really wanted out of life, he just wanted them to be famous. Michael's talent and need to be loved and accepted is what propelled him into super stardom and not just a child star... but would he have had the chance to show the world how talented he truly was if not for him being that child star? probably not.

Did you see that guy's public speech?
Before he even said anything about Michael, the first thing he did was plug some record label he was involved with. What a douche. |
