Michael would have wanted us, his children to be happy in death as well as in life.

So I'm going to ignore all his music & listen to The Fall in tribute to him.

Or something.

Any excuse to listen to The Fall? Ive got some of their stuff (mostly later), 'Shift-Work', 'Infotainment Scan' & a 'A-Sides' compilation which I bought after hearing 'Dead Beat Descendant' & 'Mr Pharmacist' on youtube. I happen to like all the songs on it though. Also 'Edinburgh Man' from Shift Work is one of my favourites.

On MJ, I ignored his music when he was alive and will continue to do so whilst he is passed. I still respect him as an artist though.

This sounds suspiciously like the kind of thing someone who's never been to a "black funeral" would say.

I'm not denying anyone their right to give their opinions. But any trolling or mindless inflamatory bullsh*t will just be deleted.

That was admittingly very racist.

But you know what I meant. And no, I'm NOT saying all black funerals are like soul train, but I know some black baptists personally.

They just tend to put more emphasis on celebrating the persons legacy and not being so down about it.

Which I think, is going about it the right way.

Maybe it's a southern baptist thing, because my experience has certainly been large amounts of sobbing and people feeling down.

Well that's because they live in the f*cking south, there's nothing to be happy about.

Canadian comedian/ musician Jon Lajoie just released this video, I'm curious about what people have to say about it.
