Or it might have been better starting with something less ambitious. I haven't been able to get a copy but I'll join a library and read it in the next few weeks.

Given the penchant the site has for absolutly absimal shorts, why don't we post some poems until we have some more time to read things. Given the nature, I'd suggest this...
Eating Poetry Mark Strand Ink runs from the corners of my mouth. There is no happiness like mine. I have been eating poetry. The librarian does not believe what she sees. Her eyes are sad and she walks with her hands in her dress. The poems are gone. The light is dim. The dogs are on the basement stairs and coming up. Their eyeballs roll, their blond legs burn like brush. The poor librarian begins to stamp her feet and weep. She does not understand. When I get on my knees and lick her hand, she screams. I am a new man, I snarl at her and bark, I romp with joy in the bookish dark. Rather than voting on whether or not we should do this, if you're in favor just post a review. if we get say, 7, we can start voting on what to include.

I think it'd do better to make a separate thread for poems...
