Everyone is always saying that Blink 182 kicks ass and everything...but i saw them live, and they suck...you could barely make out the songs. Green Day was 1000000 times better. blink 182 is one of the MTV punk bands and they need to run around naked in order to get attention...GO HOME YOU STUPID *******S

I was gunna tell ya to calm down a lil bit, but it said hold nothing back, and you took full advantage of it. I agree with your statement to a degree, I like some of their older stuff, they might suck live, but they are enjoyable at times. But they are highly overrated, they have talent, but I think they do not deserve the recognition they get.

yeah i didnt mean to light into them that hardcore...but it just annoys me that everyone thinks they're amazing...while they're good...they're not that good

good charlotte was awesome on their first cd...their second cd blows. it seems like they wrote the songs just to please listeners. Plus, they can now be considered an MTV band, and thousands of little girls want them. I went to the mall the other day to get a new watch, and there were like 10 11 year olds with GC shirts on. I had a shirt for their first CD and i dont even wear it anymore

I can live with that...I truly didn't find them that bad after their first CD. But I think that now they are lost...don't know whether to be punk, hardcore, pop, or rap.

i didnt mean to be mean...i just think that they are somehow trying to hard to be what they naturally were on their first cd...and it's making them look stupid.

...I gotta disagree. Good Charlotte is my most hated band, but the title is "most overrated", i think they are highly overrated, but they do have very little talent (if some)i hate Good Charlotte with a passion, but i think they are not the most overrated band.

New kids on the block had talent....but does that mean they still don't suck? And with the "cult-like" following of all those 12 year old kids don't you think they would be a little better?

What talent did New Kids on the Block have? They were just one of the first cookie cutter boys group to make it big. I don't think they had any talent, though. I could be wrong...

I dunno. Some of those guys had a decent career afterwards (while others didn't). It wasn't really my point, just an example :)

and although I like Blink, I would agree they are over rated.
50 Cent is pretty over rated too, as is simple plan.

Let me also add Evanesance, Alien Ant Farm, and Blink 182.

good charlotte, evanescence, good answers. anything in the genre media-core( i made it up, it means anything with the distict radio sound, ie puddle of mudd, trapt, staind) yep, those really suck

this isnt about worst ever, its about most overrated. You can be decent but overrated. EX: Blink.

Agreed, does anyone have their CD? I do, and it seems all their "hit" songs were the worst. The rest of the Cd is awesome. I think they are great. But i feel they are not overrated at all.

I don't think they're overrated, but that's my opinion. ;) They're almost all forgotten about now...

As far as the people in the scene, (punk and whatnot) not really mtv or something. Too many people like them for the low quality music they make. But that's just my opinion, and doesnt' count for too much

I don't like Linkin Park..anyway I'm not into nu-metal

Yeah, LInkin Park sucks. They've wrote the same album for like six years. They should die.

Hybrid Theory was an AMAZING album. Meteora is probably almost or just as good.

They got a lot of attention because they ARE amazing!

I would have to go with Good Charlotte, Blink 182, Simple Plan, and Linkin Park. I can't stand these groups.
