yeah, and not to mention other products do this too, they seem to be suddenly paying attention to classic rock, and using it in the background I imaigne to draw initial attention and try to warm up the potential customer.. At least Vonage were sorta original and did a really (annoyingly) catchy or just plain annoying thing in the background instead of 'using' classic rock..

I'm not a big Zep fan but it is happening to them too. If you walk in my school on any given day you could see up to 3 Zep shirts (of three different people) with in 15 minutes.

It seems that now the little kiddies are now trying to be all liking Rock and yet half of them, I would say, like 50 Cent and other rappers and pop rock. But the worst part is that every single one of the things they wear (shirts/hats/bags) it is the Dark Side of the Moon symbol. I mean, I know most of them personally and I know they listen to Pink Floyd alot and many times it is other albums but many of the other ones I don't know, I ask them their favorite song by them and everytime they respond "Money".
(I think this is a run-on sorry)
Also, AC/DC, not their fault either. But most kids have these AD/CD hats or shirts and I ask them what albums do they listen to and they all answer with "Back and Black". Yes it is a good album but there are many more by them that are great. I think AC/DC and Pink Floyd is the victim when it comes to being overated. Does this happen to anyone else are am I the only one? Please don't flame.
I am instantly reminded of all these kids who claim to be big Floyd fans but think that Dark Side Of The Moon is their first album, even though it is in fact their eighth...A lot of people cant even name a album they made before DSOTM.

I remember watching this VH1 special and the narrator said something along the lines of.

"Pink Floyd made their big debut with Dark Side Of The Moon"

I couldnt stop laughing my ****ing ass off.

Yeah and I'm sure 90% of the kids wearing those shirts haven't heard anything but Stairway. It's the same way with the DSOTM shirts, I see tons of those at my school. I've tried talking about the cd with these type of people before and most of them reply that all they've heard is Korn's cover of Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2.

The other day I noticed a kid that was wearing an Iron Maiden shirt under his collared shirt(dress code). I asked him about them and he turned out to be a pretty big fan. I was impressed.
