Led Zeppelin Aren't Over rated. Without Bands Like Led Zeppelin And Black Sabbath To Pave The Way There Wouldn't Be Half The Metal Bands And Rock Bands Around Today. Ask People About Led Zeppelin. Sure They've Heard Of Them - But Not Often Have They Heard Their Music. That Doesn't Sound Like An Over Rated Band To Me.

I Think Nirvana. While Good. Are A Leetle Over Rated. They Are Only Seen As Amazing Because They Split Up (Because Of Kurt's Death) At The Peak Of Their Performance And Didn't Have A Chance To Fade Away

anyone who said the beatles and zeppelin are overrated, I COULD NOT DISAGREE WITH YOU MORE! (sorry for the caps, i just really disagree). Zeppelin was one of the biggest influences in modern rock today, not to mention the fact that jimmy page was arguably the best guitarist ever (I personnally think hendrix is the best, but page is a close second). Zeppelin was able to mix amazing musical talent (from every member of the band, which is rare) with beautifully written and really meaningful lyrics. As for the beatles, you simply can't deny that they completely revolutionized rock music. They were pioneers of their time. many people consider their music to be simple and "overrated" but you have to consider the time in which they were in their prime. (plus the fact that they don't play together anymore is one of the worst arguments i've ever heard, mainly because only one of them is still alive). The beatles were amazing lyricists, and anyone who disagrees is not looking deep enough into the lyrics (apart from the songs that were written while completely tripped out on acid which make NO sense whatsoever, but even those songs are brilliant for their instrumental aspects.) Add all this to the fact that they accomplished all of this basically with no influences whatsoever. I mean look at the popular artists before they came on to the scene. sinatra? ya that's a rea; valuable musical influence. sorry for going on and on, but i really can't believe how anyone could think the beatles or zeppelin are overrated.

Simple Plan annoye me because they are over rated first and also because they are from Montréal and dont try to represent or give credit to my town. They are French Canada and dont give credit to their roots. Sorry if that sounded weird. It just pisses me off when I am like, "yeah, their from my town." and people are like "really?!", I'm like "yeah, they speak french", "realy!?", "yeah!!". They are posers. Anyways, disregard my comments.

Yeah Simple Plan kinda pissed me off as well. I mean before they were good but they got soo repetetive it wasn't funny.

And Joel Madden being featured in one of their songs didn't help any cuz Good Charlotte is overrate as well.
