Nirvana did bring Grunge to the mainstream, but they sure as hell didn't invent it.

Oh, and I'd say The Arcade Fire are one of the most overrated bands around now.

I Think Nirvana. While Good. Are A Leetle Over Rated. They Are Only Seen As Amazing Because They Split Up (Because Of Kurt's Death) At The Peak Of Their Performance And Didn't Have A Chance To Fade Away

I cant stand it when people say that "insert band name here" paved the way for other bands, who cares man
Early religious chants paved the way for ALL music, doesnt mean i wanna sit down and listen to that ****

Exactly dude......you make sense......yes i love zeppelin but who the **** cares........Yada yada yada woop woop they paved the way....and new bands that are good may have looked to them for insperation but sure not just going around copying other bands that were positive in the past like evre band like theaory of a deadman and nickleback and all of them that sound very similar........also lame

I like them, too, but I could name tons of bands that released albums bet than Funeral last year. They're good, but they're not great.
