Most of the mediocre bands get all the lime light whilst those who are actually any good are kept in the dark, where is the fairness in that...... for me mainly! This would probably be one of the reasons why l use to be quite unaware of anything other than Korn, Slipknot, Evanescence, Good Charlotte, etc (bands l pretty much loathe now).
..................... Over-rated making me majorly aggrevated would have to be ----- NAPALM DEATH and SIX FEET UNDER! They both need to ship up or ship out!

Yeah Yeah Yeah! Maroon 5 is just boring... And Green Day? These pseudo-punk-suckers...no way!

And I could throw out everytime I hear bout Three Doors Down. They're incredibly cruel to me.

I say Taking Back Sunday is quite overrated.

Deftones (who do you think you are, Metallica?)
Metallica (who do you think you are, God?)
Limp Bizkit and Godsmack (get some respect for the fans you have left)
Evanesence (give some credit for the rest of your band, Amy Lee)
Blink 182 (anything for a comeback)
Yellowcard ( how old is the lead singer, 9?)
Finger Eleven (defiantly overplayed)
Taking Back Sunday (is there a difference between any of the songs?)

and most of all, i hate to even utter the name...Avril Lavigne
( poser, poser, britney/christina clone, poser, lyrics are wrote from third graders, did i mention poser?????)

sorry if i offended anyone. its just my opinion.

haha definately agree with everything in this one.... especially the Amy Lee one

well aside from the obvious ones almost everyone would agree with...i know i might get slammed for these but...

U2
Coldplay
Metallica
Dave Matthews Band

keep in mind they arent bad bands but their publicity does not match the skill

ok slipknot is bad choice for this because they are good. they are respected for the stage show and most of their old **** was good and the same with manson. he has good lyrics and an awsome stage show. but the most overated bands all come from the Genre (self named) psudo-punk groups like GC,Evenesance, simple plan, etc.
