Ooooh look at me, I dislike 4 puffs and a piano.

I'm going against what's popular to act cool.

Pathetic.

EDIT: And I really like Wossy. :(

I just realised that I have been confusing the word "masochism" with "misogyny".

Anyway, I'm not at all suggesting that prog is sexist. Rush are just one band that came to mind, ELP are not the most politically correct band either, however I hate people who lash out against them because of it, especially when it's always people who listen to such tasteful and sophisticated bands as AC/DC and The Rolling Stones.

Btw, if you loved those last links I put up. Here's another goodie.

I always considered The Damned on par with The Sex Pistols in that they were totally talentless. But they never really bothered me until I realised just how much of an ignorant dumbass their guitarist is.

Whoa. Not masochism, machismo. Totally different things.

Ah, my bad.

Still, critics go after Rush and ELP for it but praise bands like AC/DC and Rolling Stones to death which is a ridiculous double standard.

I don't want anybody thinking I'm some close-minded fanboy who won't admit their favorite band is overrated. I just really think FF aren't overrated.

I have never read an article in a magazine that gave a Rolling Stones album anything less than a ****. Or an AC/DC album less than a ***.

I know AC/DC were critically hated back in the day just like Zeppelin, Sabbath and Queen. Hell Yes used to be adored by critics.

But critics are idiot bandwagoners, always have been.

What magazines are you reading?
Readers Digest?

i don't think they're overrated, i think they're just good at what they do. not particularly groundbreaking or anything, but still good.

i like the stones, don't think they are too overrated, maybe a very little bit. AC/DC i can't call overrated because i think it is pretty common knowledge that that bands hasn't written more than three songs their entire career.
