i don't get why people try to cover up the sh!te they listened to when they were growing up. use it as a mark to show the amount of growth you've made on a musical level.

i used to think this guy was the coolest guitar player on the planet

YouTube - KIM MITCHELL - Rock N Roll Duty

i even had a half dozen of his cassettes.

this was obviously years before i had a chance to check out some hendrix for myelf. pre-internet days were something else haha.

I still listen to them, they're great!

Can't wait for the new album

Everyone likes a few bands most people find shit, nothing to be ashamed of.

And if you're not into them anymore, you shouldn't be ashamed of what got you into music

I agree I don't listen to them anymore though, haha have definitely grown out of them and don't find their music enjoyable anymore. Maybe if I'm smashed at a party and one of their songs comes on I'll sing drunkenly with my friends reminiscing about our teenagehood.

I'm still in my teenage years, not long left of it though.

Getting old. BOOOOOO!

But yea, if All The Small Things/Girl At The Rock Show comes on at a party I'll be the first one up singing along.

They'd be a guilty pleasure... but I don't feel any guilt, so they're just a pleasure, I'll probably grow out of them sooner or later. I still love watching the live shows. "Is your dad still looking for a butt to hump?" "No, he's got mine." classic immature humour

I remember them doing The Big Day Out a while back, Tom said he was gonna masturbate in your town, all over the big dome. It's gonna be ugly.

I think it's their humour and how they don't take themselves seriously and they can have fun that appeals to people..
