I never heard anything from Godspeed You! Black Emperor but after a few songs on good ol' youtube they are pretty damn amazing

get off your high horse, almost everyone judges on the music but i can relate to having propane poured on the flames of dislike by the overall successfulness of totally garbage music.

Get an album. They're a band that should be listened to at full quality and not some YouTube upload.

It sucks cos any band with mass appeal will always be considered overrated by many.

I agree, though I love the Beatles. Have you heard the Beach Boys version of SMiLE? It's like Sgt. Peppers though it's unreleased obscurity allowed it to only influence mostly good bands more so than the former.

So while The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin and Radiohead are among the my favorite bands, because they're the most popular bands in the universe, I have to always be on the defensive when discussions about them come up.

I've always appreciated your non-prog tastes, besides one fluke; you hate The Pixies and LOVE Nirvana.


Now I'm also in the MB minority for thinking Cobain is brilliant...but why the Pixies hate?

Ive not heard any Kevin Federline so cant comment.. I was just speaking in general & yes obviously it will piss you off more if a band/artist you dont happen to like is succesful.
