Alright lol wered the hell you get the video. Yeah I was aware Buckley had done some heavier stuff but I still dont think his voice is suitable for it.

True there cant be any two people out there who totally agree on every aspect of music , ah well, it was worth a try.
(que anybody to suggest an alternate position).

I would gladly accept chairman of the 'Beatles Dis-appreciation society'

Hmm, Im a bit scared now , I may have to sneak on these forums as a guest in future (meanwile..).

I have heard the term 'troll' in the past, at first I didnt know what the f*ck it was; thought it was some kind of term americans use to describe scots or something.

But for those of you who truly believe the sole purpose of being on this forum is to 'noise people up' (well not on purpose...) or more ridiculously 'increase my post count' (woohoo nearly got 300: cant wait till I get 1000 then Im 'in with the big boys' )
(no disrespect to the chiefs).

I wouldnt say the most overrated band, but definitely one of the most overrated.

You only have to listen to their main contemporaries such as
Pearl Jam,Soundgarden, Alice In Chains (even though they declared themself as a metal band) to realise that.

Nirvana were definatly overrated, a very good band who made the right album at the right time. But not as good a many of other band of the time/genre...The Screaming Trees, The Melvins, The Afghan Whigs to name a few

Personally I didnt think Screaming Trees were very good at all when I first listened to them, I still have the two albums though so will maybe give them another listen.
They just sounded really **** to me but I suppose they probably are better than Nirvana .

As for The Melvins- they are more along the lines of Hardcore Punk & to me sound nothing like Grunge. But I suppose they were out around the same time although it kinda gets a bit unsuitable to compare bands from different genres.

Also The Afghan Wigs?? Ive definitely heard the name before.
Are they even grunge though? I think someone told me about them before and said they were really good. Or maybe it was you 2 mins ago when i read your post - Im just off the nightshift & cant think straight....

I actually find his voice a bit too high at times and cant really listen to it all the time.
Fair enough if you like the 'Grace' album (as everyone else seems to..) but to me it is pretty mediocre.

Also your 'rapes the ****' comment is pretty weird.
I didnt know you had sexual fantasies involving your favoured/non favoured musicians. .

I did find it pretty funny but thought it was straying from the original topic. So your 'mcseriousmc****' comment has actually backfired with your latest comment. (although I did find it a bit funny TBH).
Ok, so Im an 'elitist' just because I have a differing opinion to that of either popular opinion or your own? I think your the 'elitist' here.

Judging by this comment, you are evidently just a very narrow minded/self concious sheep.
You should go listen to 'Dedicated Follower Of Fashion' by The Kinks- I think they wrote it for people like you!
You're just pointing out garbage, I wasnt in your entire arguement, you all just get balls deep into it and I was attempting to throw some humor in the mix, not stray away from anything, I just stated my opinion showed you some sexy tits and rolled. I dont really have the patience or desire like yourself to pick apart posts word by word then give my psychological opinions. You can bag on me all day, I wasnt trying to offend you, I actually was agreeing with you with Cornells talent, just lighten up homie.

Of course people have differing opinions, it doesn't need to be pointed out in every post.
