Like the Beatles or not their massive contribution to music should mean they can never be considered overrated. Even their early material was groundbreaking, personally I prefer their 62-66 catalog to the post Sgt. Peppers work, but none of it is bad. I can't imagine how heavy something like the White Album sounded compared to everything else in '68, that album sounds like it couold have been recorded yesterday, way ahead of it's time.

I would have to say "Panic! At the Disco" :| one of the most overrated bands I know, all their songs sound pretty much the same to me. I think they're only as popular as they are because they've been taken in by the scene kids.
