I know I'm going to lose more music street cred around these parts but I'm not afraid to say that I like Nickelback. Their slower songs get to me after awhile but they also have uptempo songs. I can always listen to "Animals" while playing any racing game and it gets me pumped.

Off of that list I actually like Green Day, Coheed and Cambria, Gym Class Heroes, KoRn, Linkin' Park, Panic! and Fort Minor. I think they deserve all the ratedness they get.

It's funny, today especially with people around these boards....everyone is trying to find bands that aren't popular to name drop so they can appear cool or like a musical elitist. Some of those obscure bands suck just as bad as the popular overrated ones and will most likely remain obscure for the fact that they suck so badly.

that may be true in YOUR opinion
in MY opinion i dont see what the big deal is about them
& i never said that those were bands were any better than coheed anyway
green day, fall out boy, korn & fort minor are all pretty shit bands
