POD sucks live.. but i like listening to thier cd. I think Linkin Park is overrated. Yes, they are pretty good. People say they are the best.. I have heard bands that are way better than them. Plus, after you listen to them a while they get really old.

i would have said APC to be one of the more underrated bands. but i agree that linkin park/POd/ that whole rap/metal revolution is overrated and more importantly overplayed.

Taking Back Sunday. Their hailed as Emo's greatest up and comers. Frankly, I've heard that new CD and I think its a bunch of crap musicians and terrible one-track lyrics.

I can't believe Ledzeppelin got inspiration back up but Metallica didn't. It's clear that the 10 or so of you started listening to them after the self-titled disc. No band has remined as fiercly independant, and no band had the solid back log of music they do. In my opinion Master of Puppets to Black album represetns three of the most solid works in metal of all time. I don't think any metal band can put up the kind of push they did for the whole metal scene. And while I think RTL is my favorite album, Puppets, Justice, and Black gave a voice to real metal and not that Hair/Glam garabge.

How you say they are overrated is beyond be because with St. Anger, I don't hear anyone saying anything positive about them. So they aren't as highly rated as I think they should be. But to call a band overrated who singlehandedly shed light on an art form living in the parents basements of long-haired losers everywhere is uneducated, and wrong.

Has to be Nirvana all the way. I've heard so many tv shows and stuff about how they're the best band ever. Their musicianship is average and songs are simple. If Kurt didn't die they would have been forgotten. PLus Nirvana really screwed me over in school coz people hated me for liking them before Kurt died, and by the time he died I got bored of them already and the same people hated me for not liking them.
