I think its just people being pissed at bands they don't listen to making the polls over bands they do listen to. I mean seriously, Nick Drake is probably one of the most influential and important singer/songwriters ever and Belle and Sebastian really doesn't get rated that highly..

It's possible I confused you with Crowe, which isn't too unlikely, since there aren't always a bunch of people with crow in their name on every forum.

Go burn all of you records with awesome guitar riffs, cool drum beats, and rock music with blues and southern influences because you just disowned music. Not to mention Bowie's creativity.
