I had my birth certificate altered several times.
Three times (to my knowledge) for a name change. And once for an eye color change.
And once for an eye color change. Last time I saw it, my first name was a combination of My middle initial and my first last name (I have two last names). But if I go to Japan, I'm registered under an entirely different name. And in Korea my last name changes.
I don't know how these things happen.
