Default Amp

Ok i will be getting a new amp, i was thinking ether a line 6 spider II 212 or a flextone III. OR a marshall MG250DFX or a marshall AVT150. Or any other amps i can get between like 500$ and 700$ (so i can't really afford anything to hig quality but good enough to play in my room and with frainds). I'm also upgrading my guitar to a shecter scorpian Hellraiser (with emg 81/85 pickups). Now i play metal and some hard rock mainly like um mettalica, led zeppeling (old but i still call it hard rock) AC/DC, black sabbath, Iron maiden, megadeath and um avenged seven fold not the best music but some of there solos are really fun to play. Although some blues, indie and stuff but ya mainly metal and hard rock oh and some progressive like coheed and cambria and rush and even some jethro tull but not much jethro tull. Oh and i forgot the all mighty jeff beck. Ya so i think thats enough info.

Get the Flextone III if you can afford it ,but only if you can afford the stereo 212 model. Eh, just my opinion.

check out Carlsbro man, they're cheap and you know your getting no **** with it, they also come with drive change foot switches and a range of cool effects

The line 6 Spider is a superb amp, but if you really have the money, check out Vox Valvatronix
Fender Champions are great amps too

give Krank Amps a listen before you spend too much money on a Marshall.

Thanks for the heads up. I was thinking of getting one too. I'll probably go with a Fender Twin instead.

my first amp was a second hand "Goldentone" which hummed very loudly on a 'G' when it was on - it blew up and my house was without electricity for a short period of time because there were exposed wires and i was playing to loudly
