can my new keyboard Alesis Q88 be played with an adapter for power I tried a laptop but problem with USB

Thumbs up My answer would be... Yes.
...according to the description at Sweetwater site, that sells this keyboard model;

"The Q88 is bus-powered but can also be powered using a wall power adaptor (sold separately) when not using a computer."
