While I was Away.
Had been missing my LP ever since I stupidly sold it during what I'm now reffering to as 'Black18'. All's well again!

Sorry to hear you had a ****ty year. I hate hear about people loosing equipment. I was at a family reunion a couple of weeks ago, and I was talking to cousin who use to play at weddings. He told how he owned an original Black Beauty Les Paul, and it got stolen with the rest of the bands equipment. Those kind of stories just unsettles me. Well at bare minimum at least you had good memories of it.
P.S. The guitar looks like either a Honey Burst, or a Tobacco Burst, or Desert Burst, maybe a Dirty Lemon? I am confused to why you call it a Black 18.

Black 18 isn't the guitar it's the young coloured pussy that got him through losing it.

The story you tell of Black 18 reminds me of Black 47.

Close. Green Lemon Fade.
Black18 refers to the year. I got three. What do I win?

What? Never heard of Green Lemon Fade. So I had to look it up and that particular finish is/was used on a VOS 60th Anniversary model and they cost 6,499!!? Hey, I was thinking of a getting a Vintage V100. I am not sure I will, but think about it often (a Lemon Burst is pic below). They are only like 6% of the cost of what a Gibson Les Paul 60th Anniversary model. It seems a guitar has two fates, either an instrument you play on or a collectible item.
1918, the year of the Spanish Flu. Yeah, that year was pretty bleak. You actually win the love and affection of Frownland.

Re: Gibson. All signs point to this being a good thing for the company and the consumer. Early feedback has been all really positive.
https://www.musicradar.com/news/gibs...es-jc-curleigh Thank God! Henry Juszkiewicz running Gibson was a very bad idea from day one and he made it a point to keep reminding everyone with bad move after bad move.

That’s a fine tool for the unfinished business of The Joe Pass Challenge.
