Default help with solo career

Hello, I would like to know how a person who would like to start a solo career can hire musicians to play as a support band.

But if I got some friends, it would be a band and not a solo career.

It doesn't have to be that black and white.

And how would I convince friends to be just a support band? Who is starting does how? Do they pay a certain percentage of the gig or pay a fixed amount?

You're going to have to figure this out even if you're not friends with the people that you hire. Go find some soulless bandkids at a college to perform your music for you.

I'll throw my **** at the audience and drink Drano onstage if you're into that.
