I'm getting a trumpet for Christmas.
Then I hope to enlist for the trumpet individual course at my current music school (I'm on bass now; with additional classes of drums, piano, electric guitar and...um...latino/african percussion instruments in general)

I used to be pretty alright at guitar but I forgot pretty much everything I learned due to me hitting a brick wall of depression and going nearly two years without practicing. I also have a violin that I've messed around with but never actually learned how to play.

I'll check that dictionary, but in the meantime I'm impressed - as is everyone else in the world - by your eloquence, obvious accomplishments and success, and the evidence of your blazingly high intelligence.

Piano. Grandpop played it. Inherited his gift of perfect pitch. Just not my calling. As a hobby, though, I’ve slacked off considerably. Still enjoy banging out tunes by memory in the wee hours of the morning.
