"Musical" ear problem
Hi,
I used to tune my guitar with a piano, or with a tuner on the internet. When only one or two strings didn't sound ok, I fixed it by ear though. It's been a week now that I just CAN'T tune my guitar anymore! Even when someone plays it on a piano (E,A,D.. you get it), It never sounds in tune; I have to ask someone to do it for me. I just don't understand, it feels like I'm hearing two different notes or noises when someone plays a note on a instrument ( especially online guitar tuner that sound so different). My english is really bad and that's hard to explain, so if anyone has encountered that situation and/or can help me, please do. And I know it sounds really weird. Thanks :shycouch: Ps: I'm an intermediate guitar player and I can play some classical stuff on the piano |
EDIT : it isn't completely out of tune, just that tiny difference that f*cks all up

It's the nature of the beast. Guitars used equal tempered tuning, and they never really sound in tuned. Get a clip-on tuner, they are worth their weight in gold.
