MIDI guitar
 

Hey guys, I'm not too familiar with this MIDI thing, are those guitar who were built differently or can I install it on my guitar?

The cheapest thing you can use is the Sonuus G2M. I have one and it is a blast. You can only play monophonically but that is fine for what I use it for. I love hooking it up to an old Yamaha keyboard and then jamming out on saxophone or trumpet samples. With the Sonuus you don't need a special pickup.

Some guitars are built specifically as MIDI guitars, but you can also install a MIDI pickup on your existing guitar to give it MIDI capabilities. This way, you can connect it to MIDI devices and software to expand your musical possibilities.

MIDI guitars do sound like a good bit of fun, but I could never get use out of it other than having a mess about, haha.
