Now that I'm recording again I decided to get back into bass. Hadn't played/owned one in a very long time. My last one was a Warwick.
This time I went with a good old reliable American Standard Fender Jazz Bass. Never played one before but figure if JPJ and Jaco made one work all those years it's a no brainer choice. The modeler I have has a Ampeg SVT patch which sounds killer with some added reverb, compressor, and light chorus thru an 8 x 10 cab. New clips coming soon! (gotta whip my left hand into bass shape again first) ![]()

Killer neck thru basses!
I added a thumb rest on the bass side of the JB so I can anchor my thumb while plucking with my index and middle fingers. Oh, and....
