Default Need help with my guitar tone

So I just finished working on riffs for a self produced album I'm going to work on. The problem is that I don't like the tone I'm working with.

My amp is a Fender Mustang v.2. My pedals are Jerry Cantrell Wah, Fab Metal, and G1on.

I'm looking for a stoner rock/metal tone.

Help would be appreciated.

I can't really give you specific advice without playing your setup myself, but a standard among rock tones is high bass and trebles with low mids. Just play around and see if you stumble across sounds that you like, because you might be looking for something that it can't offer.

What guitar and what pickups? It all starts with the source.

****ty beginners guitar. Fender Squier. I want to replace the pick-ups but can't afford to at the moment.

Stop wearing a backwards baseball cap while trying to be metal and your tone will improve instantly.

Sorry frown. Just saw this. I've tried that and it was a good tone but not the crunch I want. As far as playing around goes, it's what I've been doing but it's still so far away from what I want.

Edit: Actually I think I turned the bass low not high. I'll try that in reverse.
