Default This one's for Plank

Since this is all about a guitar wankfest figured this would be a good place for it. Frank Gambale playing at NAMM with Allan Holdsworth digging it in the background. It takes a while to heat up but once Frank gets going and Allan starts rocking out it's killer!

FF to 2:50 if anyone's impatient.

Looked like some sort of reunion going on back there. I always love Franks playing, but that imbalanced sound is a bit much. Especially those lazy anticipation chugs he was doing. Nice runs and syncopated playing though.

Ya, Frank kept playing way in front of the beat.

Damn, that was great. It's amazing how far the electric guitar has come in just a few decades. I've mentioned this guy here before. Jaw dropping stuff.
