Second hand instruments?

Hi All,

I am new in the forum and I am always interesting to know :

- Would an artist use a second hand instrument?
- Would artists sell their instruments?
- Where can I buy a guitar signed by lets say Jimmy Smith from Foals?
- How often artists change or buy instruments?

Play whatever instrument suits you best. 'Secondhand' instruments tend to be more broken in and tend to play better/have better sound so I think that most guitarists would actually prefer it.
