Thank you so much kind people.
I've been listening to rock for more than 6 years lol
in the songs you guys have posted I could easily recognize it and I know it's different from guitar but how could I know it's bass? what if it's a different guitar tune?

You can play both guitar and bass parts with one of these. Both guys in Animals as Leaders use these with the low G string dropped down to E.

Then you don't recognise the bassline and you move on to another song.

If you can't recognise a bassline in a song the best thing you can do is look up the bass tabs of the song but that's only helpful if you want to learn how to play it on the bass yourself.

idk how to put it differently but like i said, the bass is usually the deepest melody you hear in the song. it's not always clear to make out because not every band or every song highlights it but if you listen real carefully you can hear it in the foundation of the song.

I recognized a different sound from the songs you guys posted but yeah if you didn't tell me it's the bass i wouldn't know

if it's the deepest melody then why people always say "that bass line" or something like that i mean if it makes a song so good like that why didn't I recognize it?
the melody of a song is so important to me and I know great guitar\drums from average one but I want to know about BASS

Your ears just need practice.

This is one of my favourite bass lines, even though I don't care for the song, and basing the lyrics on LoTR is the kind of thing a cheesy prog-band would do.

It was 1969 so it deserves some slack.
