Tell me why you love your gear?

sorry if i was vague in the title. i've gotten some PM's that they need more info...i didn't want to self promote, but i have a website you can check out if you're interested in being featured. PM me for it (i don't want to self promote on the forum, not sure if that type of stuff is frowned upon here)

long story short, the idea is that I'm profiling the relationship between musicians and their instruments. Why we choose our gear, how it makes us feel, how our development as artists is shaped by the gear we choose to create with etc. My growth as a musician is paralleled with my discovery of new gear and i'm interested in learning about and telling the stories of other people's musical journeys.
