Les Pauls
Right, this thread is dedicated to the legendary Les Paul. A number of things here:
How do you think the different models stack up (i.e. Studios v Classics v Standards v Customs etc...) in terms of value for money? How does the Les Paul stack up against other guitars in it's price range? What do you think of the Epiphones? How do you think the Les Pauls compare against other Gibsons such as SGs, Flying Vs and Explorers? |

yeah...what satch said.
i think id take a strat or and ESP. i like the way les pauls play a lot. my friends dad has an original LP from the sixties. that thing plays like no other guitar ive played. the only thing i dont like about les pauls is the way they feel. this may be because im used to a strat, but i dont like the way LP's neck is angled from the guitar.....i dont know if you know what im talking about.

My ego's like my stomach- it keeps shitting what I feed it. But maybe I don't want to finish anything anymore.. maybe I can wait in bed 'til she comes home. and whispers.... Quote:

i hate the SG so damn much! every ****ing band under the sun today has one. they were cool when angus played them, but now their just as popular as the strat themselves. anyhoo, the les paul is overated, i agree, and they are too heavy. i would pick a gretsch anyday. epiphone is just like peavey(sp?) a cheaper version of the gibsons. |

I'm pretty much pennies away from getting my Telecaster Thinline so My mind's not really on any other guitar. |
