My top 3 would be:

Keith Richards-what can you say about this guy? Just superb.

Kurt Cobain-made me want to pick up a guitar at 13, songs and lyrics still amazing.

Jonny Marr-Fantastic player, technichally superb and wrote some riffs that make me wonder how the hell he came up with them.
