How to record digital audio from Korg Krome?
Hello, I need to record some digital audio from Krome, and I made a successful USB connection to my laptop and installed all the drivers and software. I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. But I have no idea how to record audio. Windows sound settings can't recognize Krome, it's only shown in device manager as an audio device. Please help!

Here are two possible ways to accomplish recording to your laptop:
1. Right click on your Volume Control (bottom right of your screen in the TSR section, if it's not there, go to Control Panel, then Taskbar and Start Menu, and then check it off under the Notifications tab), and select Recording Devices and make sure your Krome device is the default. Then go to Start, then Accessories, and click on "Sound Recorder". You should be able to record with that, but you won't have any editing capabilities. 2. Download a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) like Audacity (it's free), and it should pick up the drivers for the Krome install, or you'll be able to select it under "Preferences" or similar. Then you'll be able to record multiple tracks, AND edit them. Audacity download: Audacity: Free Audio Editor and Recorder Other DAW's: Software DAWs, Sequencers, VST Hosts, etc. ~ Synth.tk Good luck.
