Smile Acoustic guitar and accessories

Hi,
I've an acoustic guitar and I wanted to speak with you about the accessories.

What do you use ? What do you advice ?

As far as I'm concerned, I have some picks, , a strap, a capo, a bag , a set of strings, a tuning fork, a chromatic tuner and a metronome.

Bye,

cigalechou

Finger pics, extra 1st string, towel to wipe the strings, pen/paper to write if something good comes up.

You've pretty much got the basics covered. Only things missing would be a Slide (glass or metal), and depending on if there is an accessible truss rod or not, a small screw driver (if headstock accessible), and an allen wrench.

I also keep a scrunchie available for when I need to deaden the strings for some Stanley Jordan style tapping.

I use a dunlop pick for strumming and a fender(heavy) for my electric or for fingerpicking acoustic. If you have a capo and a tuner you are at the basic stuff I guess. Of course you have all the finger covers and stuff to make the sound different, but I find the incredibly uncomfortable. You can also get a capo that only covers half of your strings, but I never found a use for that one really…the only thing I suggest is a box to keep your picks in, since they get lost so quickly, but other than that, you are good to go.

The capo for half of the strings is pretty cool. I have one I don't use it very often but I like using it on the 3rd and 5th frets and use the half capo from the A to the G. The open B and e sound nice with it and it's a very soothing sound. Its also good for alternate tunings.

But it sound like you got the basics covered OP! Perhaps you may want to invest in an electric pick up for use of your acoustic through an amp? I like Vox amps with my acoustic. A lil bit of compression and reverb brings out that resonance real nice!
