I have questions?
For experienced guitarists only,
I can play the guitar but I don't know how to tune it. I'm scared to tune it myself. I don't want the strings to break. How long did it took you to learn how to tune a guitar by ear? How do you tune without breaking the strings? |

Seriously?
nevermind experienced, learning how to tune a guitar is one of the first basic things you need to learn given that you seem like you are just starting out the easiest way is to just get a guitar tuner or try this. Once you got E tuned you can use it to tune the rest (just trying to help) How long did it took you to learn how to tune a guitar by ear? Awhile, idk the exact time but i learned how to tune my guitar through the song 'come as you are' by Nirvana, which i still use sometimes to tune my guitar, but since ive been playing for awhile now i can do it with any song How do you tune without breaking the strings? This question is so adorable <3 Strings aren't as delicate as they seem, you actually need to stretch them out or else you'll find your guitar will get out of tune really quickly, if that happens that's because you need to stretch the strings a bit more.

I sometimes like to fine tune while playing along with some of my favorite songs that are played in standard 440. Good luck with your tuning. |
