changing pickups
So I wanna change the pickups in my tele to these:
Welcome to Lindy Fralin Pickups: Fralin Tele® Split Blade - the Finest Guitar Pickups Available Today! Anyone seeking a remedy to the horrible terribleness that is single coil noise oughtta check these out, they sound way better than stacked p'ups from what I've been told and are noiseless. Right, to the point: I've never soldered a damn thing in my life, is this something that's really complicated to do? I've always just been a plug n play guy and never bothered to do any mods but I can't ****ing stand the noise from my tele anymore, it barely gets any love these days. I'm worried about seriously ****ing up my guitar, is that a risk? Does anyone have advice? How much is it likely to cost to have the p'ups replaced at a shop? |
Worst that happens is you **** up the wiring. Just get a diagram that probly comes with pickups and follow it. Practice soldering on test piece before hand.
Or just pay the 20 bucks to have them changed, cus if you do a ****ty job they are liable to cut out on you while you are using them. |
****, if it's only 20$ that's cheaper than gettin a soldering thingamajiggy. **** it, i'll leave it to people who know what they're doing. thanks rezz.
