Playin' with my head, Chula. You might inadvertently push me to cave on this Hagstrom Viking Deluxe I've had my eyes on for about a month. I'm certainly hesitant, though. I've never owned a semi-hollow, and I hate rosewood fretboards, but it's so pretty and all of the demos I've heard sound great. I think I'm going to go play it a bit Saturday afternoon.

EDIT: Oh man, it's not even a rosewood fretboard, it's some weird ebony offshoot composite they call the "resonator fretboard" lol.
Only one way to find out how it feels.

Strats are so overrated. Gimme a beat up Les Paul if we're going to go with the big names.

what model though?

I've wanted to try an Ibanez and a Les Paul both, but just going into a store and trying it once isn't really enough. I need to have it for a week or two and play with different settings in different band contexts.

My main guitar is an Ibanez. I really like it but I don't think I'd recommend it to everyone, it's just very suited to my style of music.

I've never played a bad one from Gibson tbh. I played a Stagg LP before and it was really poorly built. It buzzed when you hit certain notes and twanged like a sitar when you hit the open strings. It was ****ing awesome so I'll go with that one.

Though if we're talking all time favourites, I played one of these once and fell in love immediately.
