I need help kind people! Just walked in the world of keyboards.

Hey!

First of all, I read the buying guide from moderator, searched forums and some youtube, but still I need help, even more now. I never tought there were so many different keyboards.

Okay, to the point. I am a guitar player, looking for first keyboard. What do I want? I am not sure exactly. I like keys in Yes, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Santana, Led Zeppelin, Jazz. Organs are the main wish. I read that Korg has the best organ sounds? Antoher thing I like is to manipulate with pitch, I think thats a must. Budget = 600 €. I will use them just for personal use at home and jams with friends. Overall I prefer better sound quality and ability to manipulate with sound(pitch, envelope whatever thingy,...) and dont need no one-man-band functions(or do I?).

I still would like to play piano sound, so around 61 keys would be nice.

Short: good organ sound, around 61 keys, classic rock, Yes, <600€, personal use, pitch wheel.

Did I forget something? Please ask.

Thank you very much!

PS: sorry if my English bothers you, its not my primary language.

Nord Electro

Get the Nord Electro 2 or 3. Excellent feel to the keys and some of the best organ sounds.

Even though keyboards can be really cheap, it's a good idea to invest into an expensive one. At the moment, Roland and Yamaha are good brands, but if you are looking for pitch(transposing), a few effects and an organ sound I'd recommend an electric piano, their sound is better, and they have more notes than a keyboard/synthesizer. The keys are also better, they are more like piano keys, instead of the plastic discs that synthesizers have.

You have a better grasp of English than a lot of Americans I've talked to. Anyways.. I've been using a Yamaha DGX-640 for the last year or so. While its far from the best digital grand in the world, I find most of the voices(organs included) to be pretty good. The keys are weighted well, and it has adjustable sensitivity. The price runs around 700 dollars USD(something like 530 euro).

Of course, this is 88 key. I just figured I'd throw my two cents in as far as this goes.
