Default 1948 Epiphone Electar Duo Console

Hello All. I am completely new to the forum. I just found you by surfing. Anyway I have what I think is a 1948 Epiphone Electar Duo Console. ( 2 sets of 8 strings) Condition is very good to excellent. It is in a case (that I admit is kind of beat but still functional) and also there is a stand and a amp probably from that era. It was my Father's and I took a few lessons on it some 35-40 years ago (Really!) I worked when we put it in there so I don't see why it wouldn't or at least will work with minor tweaking/dusting off. A few references I found by surfing indicate it as rare. Not really looking to sell but was curious of a value. Sorry I don't have pics yet. Any ideas?
