Pedal Steel Guitar.
I really think the pedal steel guitar is a really cool instrument, but it doesn't get used a lot outside of country music, which is a shame. Even though i dont like country I'll check out a song if a hear a mean pedal steel on it. Pink Floyd used one on One of These Days, Jerry Garcia played pedal steel on Crosby, Stills, and Nash's Teach Your Children Well, and most recently Robert Randolph has been tearin it up with his ensemble The Family Band. Does anyone else dig this instrument? Do you know of any other Non-country bands that feature it?
