Default Singing better when hungover

I've recently descovered that I can record vocal lines better and feel more relaxed in doing so when I have a hangover for some reason.

Maybe it's to do with redidual alchohol in my system or something, I don't know.

Anyone does anyone else find this?

Alcohol, or definitely beer as far as I remember, loosens up your vocal chords and makes slightly longer or something for a while after you drink, meaning that when you speak they vibrate at a much lower frequency. Or something, I can't remember the exact details, but there's an actual connection between alcohol and your voice the morning after.

I feel beer only makes my voice worse as I'm drinking. It isn't until the morning after that I feel it's helped.

when I'm hungover, I can't even get out of bed, much less sing

having a vodka and singing after that helps me get a sandier voice, though
