Cheap Backup Guitar
I'm thinking about getting one of these to serve as a backup guitar.
Vintage V6MRLB Distressed Laguna Blue Electric Guitar - Vision Guitars I've played one and it felt and sounded pretty nice. Does any know of any reasons why I shouldn't get one? |

Try a Farida FH-18, they're cheap as hell but they're really nice, and they're a small company so you won't pay over the odds.
It'll need a fret level and setup to make it the guitar it should be, but I bought one as a cheap backup guitar and its ended up becoming my main player. The bridge is also a MUCH better bridge than the one on that guitar. MUCH.

No, HSS.
The bridge is better because the trem arm attaches in a really clever, solid way, and its a 2 point rather than a 6 point, so it returns to pitch better.

I'm not a fan of humbuckers. Is it their own bridge? or is it made by an outside company? I'm always on the lookout for good parts... |

As for the humbucker, versatility is never a bad thing, and its only the bridge pickup. Its also quite a bright humbucker, so it has a nice chime to it.
