Cheap Backup Guitar

I'm thinking about getting one of these to serve as a backup guitar.

Vintage V6MRLB Distressed Laguna Blue Electric Guitar - Vision Guitars

I've played one and it felt and sounded pretty nice.

Does any know of any reasons why I shouldn't get one?

Try a Farida FH-18, they're cheap as hell but they're really nice, and they're a small company so you won't pay over the odds.

It'll need a fret level and setup to make it the guitar it should be, but I bought one as a cheap backup guitar and its ended up becoming my main player.

The bridge is also a MUCH better bridge than the one on that guitar. MUCH.

Better how?

Also, do they make them with an SSS config?

No, HSS.

The bridge is better because the trem arm attaches in a really clever, solid way, and its a 2 point rather than a 6 point, so it returns to pitch better.

I'm not a fan of humbuckers.

Is it their own bridge? or is it made by an outside company? I'm always on the lookout for good parts...

Its a wilkinson.

As for the humbucker, versatility is never a bad thing, and its only the bridge pickup. Its also quite a bright humbucker, so it has a nice chime to it.
