if i was to learn an instrument it would be the bass because its coolest sounding instrument there is. but i dont have the concentration levels to learn.

what do you mean keyboards suck? keyboards are one of the most amazing instruments in music. just because it relates to a piano doesnt mean it sucks, and piano kicks your ass too.

Violin shouldn't be insulted either. I don't know what makes people think that some instruments are less than any other. I play the harmonica, and Ill out play most people on guitar. I went to a show and watched a guy shread on the accordian (The Prodigals) so its hard to comprehend an instrument being too boring.

I play guitar and sax though I have only been playing guitar for a year and sax for FIVE years and what a coincidence that you're talking about this but tomorrow I'm trying out for Senior Symphony Band on sax at my highschool...I thought about guitar in Jazz band but I don't know all my blues scales.

yeah, I play some drums, I can carry a few beats, but I mostly play Piano/Synth/Keyboards.

And by the way, the piano is one of the most complicated instruments ever... EVER. So if you want to take it out on an instrument, take it out on the triangle... lol. And about that, I wanted to amp a triangle and give it a wierd ass effect, would that not sound wicked?!!

Jordan Ruddes, my idol, if anyone plays piano/keyboard, find out about him, he is the best of this era, I would bet money on it.

I play guitar, bass, drums, keys. I have an obsession with Hammond B3 organs and Rhodes electric pianos., but what I would really love to learn to play is the marimba. Now that's a badass instrument.

ive played guitar since i was 7, i can handle a bass pretty well too. Id like to get better at drums, ive played them, and i can keep basic beats, but if I had the time and opportunity to learn to play them good, id be all over it. Then i could record my music and not have to worry about someone elses influences changing the way a song i write sounds in my head.

First, I played two required pieces, which were Aria by Eugene Bozza and the second movement of Sonata No. 3 by G.F. Handel.
Then, there were three assigned pieces which were Opus 19 for Paul Creston by Giuseppi Guttiveggio and some crazy piece by Echles......
It went very well!!

i tried to play the bass once I was horrible at it though but either the bass or the drums is what i would play.

I play in a band ive just formed,No name as yet when I get 1 i'll let you guys know. I play Guitar 6years its what I want to do with my life.I can also sing. anyway, i been playin guitar for i thnk 6 or 7 years, i wanna learn the sitar, but they cost heaps, and are really really hard to play apparently, like george harrison devoted heaps of time on the sitar, and only got the basics, and when he went back to guitar, he realised how much he missed and ended up regretting it. i also am keen to get into the violin, and the double bass, but have heard are two hard instuments too. :(
