I'd love to learn how to play the ukulele.. I've heard it's a pretty easy instrument to manage, and has produced some of the most heavenly tunes on the planet.

For me it was fairly easy to go from guitar to the ukulele, but I don't know if you need calluses to play it without your finger tips going through torture. Some of the chords in the standard tuning only require one finger so, yeah you can pretty much come up with something that is actually pleasing to the ears within the first 5 minutes of picking it up.
