I've noticed that I have a tendency to play grooves on the drums, nice funky rhythms, and then I throw in solos that are either fast, "typical" drum solos, or what I am calling "the fall apart"... basically, it sounds like I'm losing the beat and the song is falling apart, and then I quickly "fix" it and bring it back into the groove, allowing the song/jam to continue.
I'm basically just screwing around, but this I've started doing it completely on accident and rather like how it sounds. Anyone know of any drummers that utilize a similar style? I'd love to listen and compare.
