I bought myself a ukulele, I really wanted to learn to play. Its been 2 years and I don't think I could tel you much more than the chords... I have this horrible anxiety about learning instruments, becuase you can hear mistakes jarringly, there is rarely any bs-ing it... I know I need to get over it. Maybe I will start again tonight...
_ I also live with 2 talented musicians who would want to jam if they ever heard me practicing... which would be fun for most but for me, it makes me too nervous... |

I play drums. I took lessons for 3 or 4 years when I was younger, and then kind of lost interest for a couple years, not really practicing seriously and only playing in very informal jam sessions with friends. I started practicing seriously again just earlier this month, and it does feel good!
At some point I would like to learn to play flute, or maybe saxophone. I also think it would be fun to mess around with a contrabass sarrusophone, but I doubt I'll ever have the opportunity. |
